Ladies Day gives us all a chance to don our best silks and polish those shoes as we sport elegance and grace at the Home of Jump racing.
As well as first-class fashion, you can guarantee to experience first-class racing. Ladies Day 2018 saw the long awaited battle of Douvan and Altior, with the Nicky Henderson-trained Altior storming home in the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase.
During Ladies Day 2018, prizes were won by horsemen and Ladies alike, as we welcomed hundreds of entries for the #ColourMeMarch 2018 competition. Winners walked away with fantastic prizes from a brand new MINI ONE CAR from W.O. Lewis and Sytner Solihull, to a Boodles necklace and a spa break for two at The Lygon Arms.
Day Three of Cheltenham Races
Thursday 14 March 2019
St Patrick’s Thursday is a typically Irish affair with the Guinness Village being a star attraction, as well as live music around the course throughout the day. The Festival 2018 saw Irish legends, The Fureys join us in the Guinness Village and The Centaur after racing, and we can’t wait to announce our line up for 2019.
The team from the emerald Isle dominated throughout The Festival in 2018, and the racing on St Patrick’s Thursday was no exception with the Irish battalion of Gordon Elliott and Davy Russell, and Michael O’Leary winning the Ryanair Chase after 15 years courtesy of Balko Des Flos.
Day three of The Festival™ is one that cannot be missed. With an atmosphere to rival no other, and racing highlights of the week, it is a must-have date in the diary for all.
St Patrick’s Thursday at Cheltenham Festival 2019 takes place on Thursday 14th March.
